Message content logging is opt-in, you can download or request erasure of your data, and removing the bot now erases a server's data.

Message content logging is now opt-in. Vortigern no longer stores the text of Discord messages unless a server owner explicitly turns it on in Settings → Data & Privacy. It is off by default in every server, including existing ones.
Download your own data, and request its erasure. Any signed-in user can export everything Vortigern holds about them from their account page, instantly. Erasure is asked for from the same page and reviewed by a person before it runs — records about you include disciplinary ones, so a self-serve button would double as a way out of a punishment.
Server owners can export or erase a whole server's data from Settings → Data & Privacy.
Removing the bot now erases that server's data automatically. Previously logs, factions and settings stayed on disk indefinitely after the bot was kicked.
